Winter Blues

As some of you may remember, Spencer’s one of the main characters in the horror comic I’m developing. He’s also a vampire. He wasn’t always, though…

This takes place during the winter of 1955. It’s only a matter of time before his humanity is snatched away from him, since he turns during Christmastime of that very same year. (You guys will be able to see all the gory details for yourselves, if I ever manage to release Spencer's prequel!)

  1. He doesn't look very happy even as a human.
Hope we do get to see some gory details.

    1. LOL, yeah, Spencer was usually pretty melancholy back then, when he wasn't busy being scared by everything...

  2. I like that it's set in the 1950s, there's a lot of backdrop and mood that can help add depth to the character:)

  4. Very cool drawing! The idea for him turning during Christmastime is both heartbreaking and exciting. Good luck with the main story and the prequel! :)

    1. Thanks! I wanted this to be a little nod to the lore that links vampirism with Christmastime, LOL.

  6. He looks less melancholy as a vampire - I'm supposing there might be a story behind that.

    1. Haha, yeah. Six decades as a vampire warped his personality a tiny bit! XD
