Spencer looks like he won't be easy to puppet around, though... I bet he'll give Jay a hard time. ;-)
Haha, yeah, Spencer can be pretty stubborn when he needs to be... ;)
Love the marionette style here (the strings ended up perfect, btw!)! The bold primary colors somehow gives it an eerie feel, fit for it's horror backing, or maybe that's just Jay's sinister expression. ;)
Blue and yellow have always been Jay's colors to me, so while I was working on this, I was like, heeeey, let's go for a primary color scheme! LOL.
Love Spencer's socks! And I have a feeling he won't be pushed around so easily.
Jay probably wouldn't have as much fun if Spencer could get pushed around easily, LOL.
*LOL* Loving it! Can I also say I like those socks without being too nerdy? :)
LOL, if it's nerdy, you're in good company, then, since Nicholas has always loved all things argyle, even as a popular pretty boy! ;)
Very cool! Can't wait to see this new comic someday.
Thanks! I still have a lot of plotting to do, but hopefully I can premiere it within the next couple years!
He looks a little manipulative!
Just a little bit... ;)
I love this! It's really well done, and it says a lot about the characters and their relationship without actually saying anything. Good job!
Thanks, Shelley! The image of this randomly popped into my head one night, and I had no choice but to draw it, since it fit the two of them so well, LOL.
Wow, the colors and the art is so vivid and amazing! You really know how to capture the emotion.
Aw, thanks! :) Been exploring some new coloring techniques to improve my art...
Yikes! I love the tease. My mind just exploded with possibilities. Can't wait to read it!
Thanks! :) I have a lot of plotting ahead of me still, so who knows when I'll have the chance to premiere this! *shifty eyes* I had a revelation about this project the other day, though, so hopefully plotting goes a lot more smoothly now...
Wow, I love it! That looks so cool!
Thanks, Emma! This piece was a bit of a challenge for me, but I did my best to make it work... :)
That picture is delightfully sinister!
Thanks, Nick! I often can't share dark pieces of art, since they tend to spoil the project, so it was fun to be able to post something like this... :)
Great teaser! Spencer looks stubborn, and Jay looks delighted with his mayhem. I love the way you used color in this, too.I'm looking forward to reading it.
Thanks, Tyrean! I branched out of my comfort zone when it comes to coloring for this one. Glad you liked the end result! Not sure when this project will premiere at this point, but I did have a revelation about it this week, so hopefully it won't be too long of a wait!
Love it! The colors really pop. Poor Spencer!
Thanks, Cherie! Jay's a bit of a handful for Spencer, for sure... ;)
What fab colours, that blue and yellow really stand out. Spencer looks a little tied up at the moment! Look forward to seeing more.
Thanks! More silly art for this project will definitely be popping up here. Who knows when the actual webcomic will finally exist, though!
It's all GOOD!!!! Colors pop, very eye catching, so much to see...
Thanks! I put a lot of effort into those colors. I wanted to make them as vivid as possible without being garish!
I love the picture! It screams action and tension. I love you use of space and diagonals, and the expressions are perfect. Great job! :)
Aw, thanks! I put a lot of effort into this piece, so I'm glad you liked the end result... :)
Very interesting picture. And intriguing concept for a story. :-)
Thanks! I haven't been able to share much about this project yet, since I'm still plotting, but nonsensical artwork is always game. XD
Oh wow.....this is great, Heather. Love the puppet idea. (Still working on those photos I mentioned....soon :)
Thanks! I love doing marionette pieces like this, but drawing the strings always kills me, LOL. Looking forward to the photos! ;)
I'm not sure if I should laugh or feel sorry.Maybe both! XD <3
Both is good. >:)
