Kill or be Killed

Jay likes hanging out with Spencer, for some unfathomable reason. There are times where Spencer even likes to hang out with Jay.

This...uh, really isn't a good thing...

Like Jay, I’m a type-1 diabetic with an insulin pump. So, you might be wondering if the above comic is based on a real-life experience. Yes. Yes it is. (Minus the vampire, of course. I don’t think any have ever broken into my bedroom, at the very least!)

Also, there’s a part two! Because of course there is…

Whoops, looks like Jay is dead. Bye, Jay! (Just kidding! Maybe.)

  1. Jay can't be dead. Spencer needs a friend.
And got my ACEO of Spencer yesterday! Thank you. Mini-Alex will have to show it off on Monday.

    1. Spencer doesn't deserve any friends, LOL. And I'm glad the ACEO arrived safely! Didn't expect it to get there so quickly...

  2. Wearing an insulin pump must be hard, Heather. Glad Jay is ok.

    1. It's actually not hard at all. Been using an insulin pump for over a decade and love it. Much better than shots to me. Sure, there may be the occasional annoyance, but that's true for everything in life...

  3. Maybe you did see a vampire and he made you forget! I'd like to think his tackling Jay is more amorous than bitey.... or it could be both. Heh.

    1. LOL, you never know! Getting kicked in the face probably wouldn't put Spencer in much of a romantic mood, though... XD

  4. Loved the new comic! It made me laugh! I had no idea diabetics had pumps they slept with, or actually had pumps at all. Must be very annoying yet life saving. Thanks for sharing that & have a great weekend!

    1. Some type-1 diabetics use shots. Others, like me, prefer pumps. I have to wear it 24/7, even when sleeping, but am able to unclip it for showers, so water doesn't damage it. I need to change the injection site every few days, which is much more convenient than giving myself a shot multiple times a day! My pump very rarely annoys me...

  5. What a way to wake up! Yeah, Jay probably shouldn't die. Spencer needs a friend. :)

    1. Human Spencer definitely needed a friend. Vampire Spencer is too homicidal for one, though. LOL.

  6. Didn't know about the pumps, either. Jay's expressions are the best here!

  12. It would be a little disconcerting to be woken up by a vampire!

  13. Lacking the insulin and actual undead, I have ACTUALLY had this experience before.

  14. Okay, can I admit I'm always a little disconcerted by a vampire wearing glasses? Just doesn't seem right somehow.

  16. LOL! I don't think I'd take kindly to being awoken like that either. Funny!
