Patreon

Echo Effect premiered three years ago today! (Only about four months have passed for Nicholas and Coco, though.) I celebrated by launching a Patreon page.*

What’s Patreon? It’s a site where you can support creators of all kinds with monthly donations. If you decide to support me, I won’t have to rely on commissions and other odd jobs as much for income. In other words, I’ll have more time to make comics! Anyone who donates will receive fun perks, too. (High-resolution art files, commission discounts, wallpapers, early Echo Effect updates, and even artwork that’ll never be posted outside of Patreon.) You can read more about these perks here.

The more you pledge, the more you get, so if you enjoy my work and are able to spare $1 or more each month, I hope you’ll come check it out!

*Yes, this is a good way to celebrate, since some of the Patreon-exclusive artwork will include out-of-context spoilers for volume 3 of Echo Effect!

  13. Happy anniversary, congrats! What a cute looking comic! I keep debating about using Patreon, but as a writer.. I'm not sure what sorta stuff I'd give away to people. Plus, I have so many other online things I'm trying to keep up with. I don't know. Anyway, good luck!

    1. Thank you! :)

If you do ever decide to use Patreon, this post offers some tips for writers. And I know what you mean about needing to keep up with so many things online. It can be hard to balance everything the more you take on! Patreon has been a good motivator for me so far, though, so I feel like it's worth looking into, if you have the time for it!
