Or, you know, when he's not being all vampirery or trying to kill Christmas. ;) I like this laidback version of Spencer. So approachable. ;)
Too bad Jay makes him so uptight! XD
Wow, too such opposite traits in one guy ! Very creative.Merry Christmas to you and those who do not bug you.
Thank you! Hope your holidays went well! :)
A vamp that chews bubble gum? I love it! I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a joyous Holiday Season! :)
Thanks, Lexa! Hope your holidays have gone well this year! :)
Does that gum ever get stuck on his fangs?Laid back and homicidal doesn't seem to go together. Definitely an interesting character!
Being undead and all, he's probably had enough time to figure out how to chew bubblegum properly... :PAnd thanks! He's not always laidback, since Jay knows how to trigger his uptight size, but yeah. LOL.
Ha, love it... "minor detail."
Thanks, Emilyann! :P
Looks so casual and free. That picture of him with blood on his mouth and fangs showing is a total juxtaposition to this guy.
Spencer is a vampire of many layers... ;)
You're such a good artist. How do you create the art on computer?
Aw, thank you! :)I actually start off by drawing traditionally, with regular, ol' pencil and paper. I then scan the sketch onto my laptop to ink and color in Photoshop. (I used to ink traditionally, too, until I received a Wacom tablet a few months ago. Coloring has always been a digital step for me, though!)
A laidback-homicidal man out for a walk. Locking my door.
LOL, a locked door probably wouldn't stop Spencer... ;)
Interesting character!!! :)
Thanks! I like to hope so... :)
He looks so chilled in that picture, but I don't think I'd want to get on his wrong side!
His good side isn't all that trustworthy, either, so yeah, it's probably best to avoid all sides of him! ;)
congrats on your recent commissions and embarking on your horror webcomic journey! i know fans will flock to it! here's to a prosperous 2016! (ps, i love his innocent looking picture and that he's so evil underneath!)
Thanks, Tara! I'm a huge fan of giving my characters contrasts like that. And LOL, who knows if anyone will ever have the chance to flock to this webcomic, since it's taking me ages to put it together! XD
Hehehe! LOVE it. Bubble gum and blood... I wonder what that tastes likes. Hehehe!
LOL, that's not something I'd want to find out firsthand, I think. And thanks! :)
I always love me a little homicidal rage. I mean, it makes the story world go round. =)
LOL, definitely! Writing and drawing wouldn't be nearly as fun without some of that mixed in... ;)
Hi Heather! You are the winner of Dennis Higgins' book, Pennies from across the veil. Please send me your mailing address, and I'll pass it on to Dennis. firstname.lastname@example.org
Oh, wow, thanks! So surprised I won. Will make sure to find time to email you today!
oooh, I;m already loving him! I have a feeling you're going to give the vampire theme a completely new twist. Can't wait! :-)
Thanks! I really hope people enjoy my take on vampires. I plan to utilize some folklore that is hardly, if ever, seen anymore!
