Killing Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Or so some people say. Spencer is not one of those people…

(Run away now, Jay. Your sweater is probably next.)

Yes, there's a reason why Spencer hates Christmastime so much. No, I can't share what that reason is yet. It's part of a traumatic backstory you guys can learn about once this webcomic premieres! (Which may be years from now, with how long it's taking me to develop it. Whoops.)

  3. If he was in a department store, I wouldn't blame him.

    1. He's simply going yard-to-yard right now, but Spencer would just as easily smash up a department store, too. ;) Happy holidays!

  5. Why do you like to tease us? Years? I'm more worried about Jay's head (or lower) than his sweater.

    1. Well, I don't want it to take years, but I need to be mindful of my limitations. It wouldn't be smart for me to promise an earlier premiere date if I can't follow through with it!

And LOL, don't worry, Jay knows how to survive around Spencer, despite his lack of a self-preservation instinct... ;)

  6. I was worried I'd not love this given the anti-Christmas context, but I actually DO love it. I mean, sure, I could do without the whole killing Christmas part, but I love all the detail and it's funny, really, how mad he looks and how worried Jay is. Plus, Jay's sweater... you know I can't resist a good "ugly sweater." ;) Excellent work, I'm glad you got this done just in time for Christmas!

    1. Jay refuses to believe his sweater is ugly. ;)

And thanks! Even though I started this piece back in October, I've been so busy with commissions that I wasn't sure I'd be able to wrap this up in time. And LOL, I like to hope Spencer's hatred toward Christmastime will make sense once I can finally share his backstory...

And LOL, I already torture Spencer so much that I think I'll give him a free pass, just this once... ;)

    1. LOL, yeah, it's probably best to stay out of his way, especially since his heart won't be growing anytime soon! ;)
