It Took Two Months, But...

Guess who finally un-broke that untitled horror webcomic of mine? Aaand gave it a title in the process?!

I still have a lot of plotting to do, but at least everything’s falling into place now. Depending on how long it takes me to figure out certain pesky elements, like the end, I might be able to premiere this webcomic as soon as 2016!

(I’m notoriously slow when it comes to drawing, and I still need to focus on Echo Effect, so a 2017 premiere is probably more likely, but hey, I can dream, right?)

I don’t feel too comfortable revealing much about this webcomic yet, not even the title—everything’s still in flux, after all—so… *runs away*

    1. Thanks! :) I made that gif myself, when I probably should've been working on art some more, LOL.

    1. Thanks! I hope so. Even though I consider this a horror project, it's still going to have a comedic bent like Echo Effect!

  3. Yay! And I think drawing would take a lot more time than writing up something.

    1. Drawing does take a long time, but I actually seem to be more efficient with it than novel-writing, haha. I was super, super slow back when I tried to be a novel writer... XD

  4. Woohoo! I knew it was all percolating in there and you'd figure it out soon! 2017 sounds a long way off, but it's awesome to have plans and something to look forward to. Have a great week!

    1. There's always the chance that I can premiere this in 2016, but to be on the safe side, yeah...assume 2017, haha. I want to complete a few months' worth of strips before posting any, and that could take a while!

    1. Haha, we'll see. My depression makes it easy to want to avoid dreaming, a lot of the time! XD

    1. Thanks! :) Would be easier to move ahead if I could somehow convince time to slow down, haha...

  8. Yeah those endings sure can be pesky. They have to be like creative and fresh and have that wow factor. Good luck with that. I'm sure it'll be awesome!

    1. Thanks, I hope so! I'm super-picky when it comes to endings. It's impossible for me to work on a project properly until I have that aspect figured out!

and it's funny the previous post you were asking for work because you weren't busy - and now your're completely swamped - or at least beginning a project! i still may check out your guidelines, as i have a story i'm working on with the intentions of making it a youtube storybook!
yay for you again! looking forward to hearing more about it!

    1. Aw, thanks! :)

And LOL, it's not that I wasn't busy before. I always have some kind of webcomic to work on. It's just that none of that earns me any money. My commissions, however, do, so I'm more than willing to take on new clients when it comes to that. It's not fun to be a literal starving artist, after all! ;)

    1. I try not to drive myself crazy with deadlines, either, but I still like to have some kind of deadline in place, no matter how flexible, so I don't slack off!

    1. LOL, don't worry, I'm definitely taking my time. Despite finally having a light bulb moment, there's quite a bit I need to figure out, still! I won't be premiering this webcomic until I feel more comfortable with where the story is heading...
