Guest Post: Connor Putzkammer by Christine Rains

Christine Rains is here on my blog today to introduce us to one of her characters from Of Blood and Sorrow. Enjoy!

CONNOR PUTZKAMMER

You live in a world of monsters. Every day you suffer in silence with the fear of finding out you are a monster too. What do you need most in this moment?

A friend. Good and loyal. One that coaxes you out of the darkness and into the light. Somebody who can make you laugh and help you appreciate the little things again.

Connor is that friend. He'll share geeky jokes and draw you away from the shadows to dance. Sure, he doesn't have big ambitions nor is he Harvard material, but you should never underestimate the immense value of a big heart.

He's the youngest of the Putzkammer men and the peacemaker of the family. Without him, Erin would have never come out of her shell. Connor takes the best friend role seriously, especially since she sneaks him extra cookies!

Favorite line from Connor: “Batman had demon blood and didn’t know it.”

Tidbit from the author: I fell a little bit in love with Connor. Sure, okay, maybe that shows my cougar claws as he's only nineteen, but he's truly a sweetheart.

OF BLOOD AND SORROW
By Christine Rains

Blurb:

Erin Driscol works the perfect job consoling fellow demons by feeding off their grief at Putzkammer & Sons Funeral Home.

When fledgling vampire Nicolas Reese comes to Erin for help, she learns the truth behind the legends and hides him from his sire and the vampire hunters who seek him. But when the Putzkammers begin to die one by one, Erin is caught between her act of kindness and the need to save her adopted family. Only by facing her own personal demons can she stop the slaughter and still rescue Nicolas from his dark fate.

    1. Thank you, Lexa! It does make sense since Batman seems to have something more to him than just being a normal human. :)

  3. Oh he sounds adorable. The kind you don't fancy when young because you're too busy fancying bad-boys, but then you marry them and with you'd done it sooner. :) Or is that just me lol

Congrats on what is sure to be another awesome book, Christine. I've added it to my Goodreads to read list. I STILL have to review the other's! I'm terrible.

  9. I love this...it reminds me of a board game where we get to meet each character. Connor sounds like that guy the heroine doesn't appreciate until later in the book, when she finally wakes up and realizes she's in love with him!
