A Frozen Heart

Guys, it’s time for you all to run away from my inner fangirl. Why? Because Disney Press will be releasing A Frozen Heart in 2015—a novel told not only from Anna’s POV, but Hans'. Hans is my absolute favorite Frozen character, so this book existing has made me beyond happy.

Here’s a summary of the book, which spoils the movie somewhat, so—y’know—you’ve been warned…

Love is an open door. Or so Anna believed when she first met a handsome prince named Hans. A Frozen Heart tells the story of a lonely young woman who has been shut away from the world for most of her life. Her parents are dead, and her sister—the only person who might show her an ounce of love—is cold and distant. No wonder she jumps at the chance for love and companionship with a dashing stranger. But as Hans' veneer of kindness melts away, Anna finds the love she was searching for all along from her sister Elsa.
Told in alternating chapters from both Anna's and Hans' perspectives, A Frozen Heart delves into the couple's failed romance, exploring their backstories, motivations, and ultimate separation.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go impatiently wait for a cover to be revealed for this book…

    1. Many Frozen fans aren't Hans fans, so...we'll see! (I'll definitely be going crazy over this, though...haha.)

  2. It sounds great! You know, don't shoot me, but I haven't seen Frozen yet. I keep asking my son if he wants to watch it, but he doesn't. Might have to watch it on my own!

    1. LOL, not necessarily. Many people in the Frozen fandom don't seem to care for anything involving Hans. Hans fans will love it, though! ;)

    1. Perhaps because this book focuses on a romance that actually doesn't work out? Heh... XD

  10. I liked the movie, Frozen. The graphics and songs were outstanding. But to be perfectly honest, now don't get mad at me, I've seen better Disney movies. I have so many favorites, one is Aladdin.

    1. There's no such thing as a "better" movie. All movies are good in their own way. Certain ones just happen to resonate better with people than others. Frozen, for example, helps me when I'm depressed to the point of wanting to die, so I'm incredibly grateful it exists.

  11. I'm really interested in seeing what this book will reveal about Hans, as I suspect he's not exactly the villain everyone thinks he is. Or never intended to be at least. Can't wait to see the cover!!! :D
