Charming Hearts

I've been a terrible blogger lately. I wish I could say it's because I'm working hard on Echo Effect, but...um...I've been slacking off on that, too. Nope, what I've really been doing is fangirling this couple from Ever After High:

Lizzie Hearts (destined to be the next Queen of Hearts in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) and Daring Charming (destined to be the next prince in Snow White).

And naturally, when I start fangirling, I start making fan art. In just a week, I found myself completing pieces like this...

...and this...

Oh yeah, and this...

I realize most of you don't know what Ever After High is, and a lot of this will go over your heads if you haven't seen the webisodes, but I figured I should share anyway, so you can see what's been distracting me! I really hope to do a better job of catching up with the blogosphere soon. I've been trying to peek in here-and-there, but apologies in advance if it takes me a while to reach your blog. Slacking off on Echo Effect has already come back to bite me, so that needs my attention first. Hope you guys understand!

    1. Glad it hasn't been noticeable to everyone, then! :) I can't help but feel behind on the blogosphere, since there are always so many posts waiting for me whenever I log back into Bloglovin!

    1. I stole that line from one of the webisodes, actually! (Lizzie once snipped the flowers a guy was going to give to another girl, haha.)

  5. Well, these are fun even if they are over my head. I did get the "off with their heads" allusion. Does that give me points?

  6. This is so fun, Heather. I love your art. It's so colorful and beautiful and even if I don't know Ever After High I enjoy these strips. Thanks for sharing. :)

I've been a terrible blogger too lately because so many things are happening. I'll blog about them on TOL this week.

    Thanks for sharing.

    1. Glad you enjoyed it! :) I always put a lot of effort into my fan art, despite the fact that few people will know what I'm drawing, haha.

And hey, at least you seem to have a good reason for being MIA from the blogosphere! Nothing ever really happens here, so I just have myself to blame... XD

    1. Hope you enjoy it if you ever do check it out! The webisodes are a lot of fun, and not that long, either, so it's not too bad of a time-suck...

    1. Thanks! I love making colored art. My webcomics would be in color, too, if that format weren't so pricey to print!

  16. Wow, Heather! You are so talented! I love what you've created while you've been "absent" from the blogging world! I've been "absent" too, but I don't have anything that cool to show for it! :)

And what I made might seem cool, but it wasn't that productive, so...yeah. Haha!
