Weekly Webcomic Updates

First off, sorry for being MIA this week. Things got busy again! (I blame the holidays.)

Secondly...oh, yeah, I'm supposed to be sharing Echo Effect comic strips right now, aren't I? Here ya go...

Comic #127

Comic #128

Cue Nicholas going straight home to cry to his nana. (I'm not kidding.)

And for those of you wondering what the heck Pillow Talk is, the movie referenced in strip #127...it's this. (Coco's a fan of old romantic comedies. Shh, don't tell anyone; it embarrasses her. Not that she should be embarrassed, since Pillow Talk is freakin' awesome...)

Also, only seven strips left in volume one now! I can't wait to show you guys what else I have in store for my characters before volume two even starts...

  1. I hope things settle down for you soon. This time of year is hectic! I do love seeing a sneak peak. I've been known to cry to my nana as well.

    1. Crying to nanas can be very cathartic! ;)

And I do believe things will be settling down a little now...until Christmas Eve, anyway!

  2. Hee hee! I've totally seen Pillow Talk. (Thank you crazy sister-in-law.) Heather, I hear you on the crazy factor. I say it's high time to raise a keg of rootbeer and kick back to eat cheese and watch a Christmasy fire.

    1. Or sit back and read Christmassy Archie Comics! (That's what I like to do, anyway, haha.)

And whoo! Someone else has seen Pillow Talk! Yeah! ;)

  3. LOL I cracked up that Coco is embarrassed for anyone to know she loves Pillow Talk. :D
Poor Nicholas, things can never be simple for these two.
I can't believe there are only 7 strips left of this volume, looking forward to what you have in store for us.

    Merry Christmas, Heather!

    1. Things would be less fun if they were simple! ;)

And happy holidays right back at ya, Julie!

  4. Aw, poor Nick. All I could think when he (sorry, I'm bad with names, the other guy) was listing all those things about her was, 'Is he a friend, or a stalker?' Lol.
I'm excited to see where these go. :)

    1. The other guy, Payne, is a stalker, most definitely! :P

And I hope the upcoming strips won't disappoint!

  5. Only seven left?! Yikes! Come cry on my shoulder, Nicholas. I have lots of cookies here to make you feel better. (That sounded dirtier than I expected! *LOL*)

    1. Cookies are good...as well as praise. My precious little narcissist can't function without praise. XD

  6. I remember Pillow Talk! That was Doris Day and Rock Hudson (or James Garner?). I love anything that Doris Day was in. She was a shining star. Thanks for reminding me and good luck with your upcoming deadline. Merry Christmas! :-)

    1. Yep, Rock Hudson! I love Doris Day's movies, too. (Still haven't seen all of them, though!) Thanks for the luck--I'm gonna need it! And happy holidays! :)
